I was only supposed to test the light and grab a few shots. It was 4th of July, weather was temperamental, light was shifting from too bright to strangely dark and baby was not yet settled. We had constant boats buzzing by and a little dog that kept running up with dirty wet balls for me to throw. Normally it would have probably been one of those shoots where we would have admitted defeat and called it a day. However, this baby has simply one of the nicest, most welcoming families I have ever met. They all came out on the dock while we were working with baby and just began chatting. In between tossing the ball for the dog and spending time with the family I honestly forgot I was working and just had a great time! This is one of three shoots this family and I have done together, but they have so many pictures I didnt want to overwhelm so this is BABY K ….part one !
